Protest Music Night - Ulster Hall

Following in the Ulster Hall’s rich tradition of punk and protest music, join a panel of Belfast music legends including Terri Hooley, Joe Lindsay and Glenn Patterson amongst others, as they debate the burning question, “where have all the protest singers gone?”

Enjoy a short set of classic, Belfast anthems given a Latin-American make-over by the Upcats, followed by a rare screening of the un-missable South African music documentary, Amandla! A Revolution in Four-Part Harmony which chronicles the important role of Protest Music in the downfall of Apartheid.

This event is on Wednesday 2 May. If you are successful in your application, tickets will not be posted out, but will be available for you to pick up on the night.

This event is in the Group space in the Ulster Hall and is part of the 150th Anniversary celebrations.
