Jerry Fish
Jerry Fish is the musical alter ego of singer Gerard Whelan, the main creative force of seminal ‘90’s band An Emotional Fish. Reincarnated in 2002 as Jerry Fish and his backing band The Mudbug Club he has been one of the most significant and successful players on the Irish music scene over the last decade. Part singer, part poet, part raconteur, all performer Jerry is best described as an Irish mix of Jack Kerouac and Tom Waits with a sprinkling of Lou Reed seasoned with The Fun Lovin’ Criminals.
Jerry has created a unique and intimate show that has all the fun and carnival antics of The Mudbug Club with an even closer relationship to the audience.
