Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar
This new adaptation of Julius Caesar is set on the Shankill Road in the early 2000’s during a loyalist feud. The play uses Shakespeare’s tragedy to explore some of the themes of our recent past including the relationships between those in power and the role of violence in society.
The Company is a semi-autonomous theatre group within YouthAction Northern Ireland’s Rainbow Factory School of Performing Arts.
It’s members, aged 16 – 25, are provided with performing and allied arts training in a safe, friendly, professional environment. We develop and further members knowledge, skills and experience to enable them to pursue careers in the professional arts industry, while and through, producing high quality theatre.
