Belfast-based singer-songwriter Anthony Toner returns to Downpatrick for a solo performance that offers audience members the chance to play an active role in shaping the show.

‘For me, it’s always been important to connect,’ says Anthony, ‘and I thought this would be an interesting way of involving the audiences in each of the shows. If they take the time to get in touch, they get to hear the songs they want. There’s no guarantee that I’ll play ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ or ‘Stairway to Heaven’, though…’
Anthony has attracted strong airplay with his most recent album, A Light Below the Door, following a string of radio successes with songs including ‘Sailortown’, one of Northern Ireland radio’s most requested songs.
